For Abby - Writing Pieces

Hi Abby,

Go to the Add Text feature when you wish to produce a piece of writing.  You can cut and paste existing writing from emails, other web pages, and Word docs (for example, you could copy and paste an assignment you have already given to students so you don't have to write it all again), or you can write and publish original pieces here.

You can make the text bigger or smaller bu using the A feature with arrows (see above).  You can also link to other web pages by using the globe and link (above -next to the bullets).

To visit Abby's Metro webpage, click here.

Widgets and Feeds

Widgets and Feeds

Hi Abby,

Here are some of the features I recommend:

You Tube
To add a You Tube video, go to the Widgets feature.

Scribd
You can also use Sribd to upload and share documents/assignments.

Survey
You can create surveys for your students -ask them questions about the reading, obtain their opinions about certain aspects of Romeo & Juliet, etc.

Archive
You can archive assignments here.

Links
You can add links to R&J websites so students can research on their own.

RSS Feeds
You can add RSS feeds - either the ones we already offer - or your own.  I added a Romeo and Juliet feed as an example (to add your own, you just the URL).

:)Donna
